Snap, identify, value
Point your camera at a toy and Toydex's AI works out what it is and which brand or line it belongs to, then shows an estimated value range. No more scrolling through listings trying to match what you've got.
Toydex is your toy scanner and collection organizer. Snap a photo of a die-cast car, a building set, or an action figure and get what it is, an estimated value range, its packaging condition, and how rare it is — in seconds.
For collectors, resellers, and the plain curious — whether you're hunting a grail or wondering what that box in the attic is worth.

Every scan gets an AI value estimate shown as a range, with a confidence letter from A to E so you know how much weight to give it — at a toy fair or online.
See the packaging condition — sealed, box damaged, or loose — and a rarity tier from Common to Legendary, so you know which pieces are worth protecting.
Group toys into collections, see your toy count and total value at a glance, sort by what's worth the most, and export your list whenever you need it.
Want a sharper number? With Toydex Pro, a live check searches the web for recent sold and listed prices for the toy you just scanned.
Browse the top-selling toys to see what collectors are paying for right now — and spot what might be hiding in your own boxes.
Point your camera at the toy or its packaging and fit it inside the frame. Even, indirect light helps — especially with shiny blister packs and glossy boxes.
The AI tells you what it is and which brand or line it belongs to, and estimates its value. Pro members can run a live price check against recent sold and listed prices.
Add it to a collection with one tap, check its condition and rarity, and see your whole collection's total value.
Every scan tells you the state of the packaging — sealed, box damaged, or loose — how confident Toydex is in the price, from A to E, and how rare the piece is, from Common all the way up to Legendary.
A look at scanning, your collection, and discovery inside the app.
Die-cast cars, building sets, action figures, and other collectible toys — vintage and modern, boxed or carded. Recognition works best on toys that are widely sold and collected; very rare or one-off pieces may return a less confident result.
Every scan gets an AI-generated estimate, shown with a confidence letter from A to E. Pro members can also run a live check that searches the web for recent sold and listed prices. Toy values move constantly and depend heavily on condition, packaging, and demand, so treat every figure as an estimate rather than an appraisal or an offer to buy.
No. Toydex shows an estimate of the packaging condition — for example sealed, box damaged, or loose — and a rarity tier. It doesn't produce a grade like AFA, CAS, or CGA do; only a grading company can issue an official grade.
Not at all. If you found a box in the attic or picked something up at a garage sale, just photograph it — Toydex does the identification for you.
Toydex is account-free — no sign-up, no email required. Your collection is stored on your device and backed up to our cloud so it comes back if you reinstall the app on the same phone, which also means we hold a copy. Settings → Delete My Data erases it from your phone and our servers in one tap. We don't sell your personal information. On first launch the app asks for tracking permission; if you allow it, we use the advertising identifier to measure which campaign led to your install. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
